Getups Terms of Use
Last updated: October 29, 2026. Version 1.0. Türkçe
- Getups is free to start, with 5 outfits and a closet of up to 30 pieces. Getups Premium is a subscription billed by Apple that renews each period until you cancel it in your Apple Account settings.
- Your photos and your closet stay yours. We use them only to run Getups for you. To recognize your pieces and draw clean images of them, crops of your photos are processed by an AI service through our server.
- AI drawn images and outfit ideas can be wrong. They are suggestions, and you decide what to wear.
- Only add photos you have the right to use, and do not add other people without their permission.
- You can delete your account in the app at any time.
These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Boutanna Apps ("Boutanna Apps", "we", "us"), based in Istanbul, Türkiye. They apply to Getups, our outfit planner for iPhone, and to Getups Premium. By continuing on the welcome screen or by using Getups, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Getups.
How we handle personal data is explained in the Getups Privacy Policy. For Getups, these Terms apply instead of our general Terms of Use. These Terms are also available in Turkish. If the two versions differ, the Turkish version applies to users in Türkiye.
1. What Getups does
Getups turns photos of your clothes into a digital closet and suggests outfits from it for your weather, your plans and your style. Some features are free and some need Getups Premium (see section 7). We keep improving Getups, so features may change, be added or be removed over time. If we remove a main Premium feature, we will tell you in advance. You can then cancel and ask Apple for a refund of the unused part of your current period.
2. Who can use Getups and your account
You must be at least 13 years old to use Getups. If you are under 18, or under the age of majority where you live, you may use Getups only with the permission of a parent or guardian, who should also make or approve any purchase. If the law where you live sets a higher minimum age for using services like Getups, or for agreeing on your own to the processing of your data, that age applies.
When you first open Getups, we create an account for you with a random identifier, so you can start without giving any details. You can later sign in with Apple or with Google to keep your closet when you change or reset your iPhone. Until you sign in, your closet is tied to the account on this iPhone, and if you sign out or lose access to it, we may not be able to bring your closet back. If you sign in with an Apple or Google account you used with Getups before, the closet you built on this iPhone is not merged into it.
Keep your Apple or Google account secure, because anyone who can use it can also open your Getups closet. Tell us if you think someone else is using your account.
3. Your photos and AI processing
You add pieces by choosing photos from your library. Getups first finds each piece on your iPhone. It then sends a few small cropped images of each piece, which may show part of you or your background, through our server to our AI provider, Cloudflare Workers AI. The AI provider recognizes the piece and draws a clean product image of it. Getups saves that image, or the piece cut out of your photo if drawing fails, together with the details of the piece in your closet. It does not keep your original photo.
Adding pieces from photos needs this processing. The Privacy Policy explains it in detail, along with the choices you have. We do not use your photos or your closet to train AI models. Cloudflare states that it does not use them to train its models.
4. AI results are suggestions
- Product images are drawn by AI. They can differ from the real piece, for example in color, fit, pattern, logo or small details.
- Getups can read the type, color or warmth of a piece wrongly. You can correct it on the page of that piece.
- Outfit ideas are automated suggestions based on your closet, the forecast and your answers. They are not professional styling advice, and they may not suit every occasion, dress code or weather.
- Forecasts come from Apple Weather and can be wrong.
You decide what to wear. When it matters, for example for work, travel or time outdoors, check the weather and any dress code yourself.
5. Your content
Your photos, the images Getups makes from them, your closet, your outfits and your likes and dislikes on outfits are your content. You keep all the rights you have in it, and we do not claim ownership.
So that we can run Getups for you, you give us a non exclusive, royalty free, worldwide licence to store, copy, process, convert and show your content to you, and to send it to the service providers named in the Privacy Policy. This licence is only for providing Getups to you. We do not make your content public, we do not sell it and we do not use it for advertising or to train AI models. The licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for any copy the law requires us to keep.
This licence only covers copyright. How we process personal data is explained in the Privacy Policy.
6. Acceptable use
When you use Getups, you agree:
- to add only photos that you took or have the right to use;
- not to add photos that show other people unless they agree, and for a child, unless a parent or guardian agrees;
- not to add content that is illegal, contains nudity or sexual content, violence or hate, or infringes the rights of others;
- not to use Getups to make images for sale or for any other commercial use, because Getups is for your own personal closet;
- not to get around limits, for example by creating extra accounts to get more free outfits, and not to overload our server or our AI provider with automated or excessive requests;
- not to copy, modify, reverse engineer or resell Getups, or interfere with how it works, except where the law allows it.
We may remove content or limit an account that breaks these rules, as described in section 11.
7. The free plan and Getups Premium
Getups is free to download. The free plan includes:
- 5 outfits in total;
- a closet of up to 30 pieces.
Getups Premium is a subscription with no fixed end date, billed each period until you cancel, and adds:
- unlimited outfits, with up to 3 outfit picks a day for each occasion;
- the planner, to plan your outfits for the next 10 days;
- a closet of up to 500 pieces.
To keep Getups fair and affordable, each account has a monthly limit on AI requests. It currently allows about 60 pieces a month on the free plan and about 1,000 on Premium. Redraws also count, and so do crops that turn out not to be a piece, so you may be able to add fewer pieces. Each piece can be redrawn up to 5 times. On the free plan, adding new pieces may also pause until the next month if the free capacity we set aside for that month runs out. Your first pieces, about 10, are not affected by this pause. Deleting a piece frees a place in your closet but does not reset the monthly count.
If your Premium ends, you keep all your pieces and outfits. You can no longer add pieces beyond 30, get new outfits beyond your free allowance or use the planner.
8. Subscriptions and billing
- You buy Getups Premium through the App Store, and Apple collects all payments. In Türkiye you can choose a monthly or a yearly plan. In other countries you can choose a weekly or a yearly plan. The plans you see depend on your App Store country.
- The length of each plan, its price in your currency and any taxes Apple applies are shown in Getups and on Apple's purchase sheet before you buy.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
- Your subscription has no fixed end date. Apple charges the price of your plan for each new week, month or year, depending on your plan, until you cancel. The subscription renews unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and Apple charges the renewal within the 24 hours before that period ends.
- You can cancel at any time in Settings, then your name, then Subscriptions on your iPhone, or at apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions. Cancelling stops future renewals, and Premium stays on until the end of the period you paid for. Deleting Getups or your Getups account does not cancel a subscription.
- If Apple cannot collect a renewal payment, Premium ends. Apple may keep trying to collect the payment for a while, and Premium comes back when it goes through.
- If the price of your plan changes, Apple tells you in advance and asks for your consent where the law requires it. You can cancel before the new price applies.
- Premium is linked to the Getups account you use when you buy. If you reinstall Getups or change your iPhone, sign in and tap Restore purchases in Settings.
- Getups does not currently offer free trials or introductory prices. If we offer one in the future, its terms will be shown before you buy.
9. Refunds and your right of withdrawal
Refunds are paid through Apple, because Apple collects all payments. You can ask for one at reportaproblem.apple.com. Apple's terms for Türkiye also let you ask Apple Support to end a subscription right away and refund the unused part.
Türkiye. Premium starts as soon as you confirm the purchase, at your request and with your approval. Under Article 15(1)(ğ) and (h) of the Distance Contracts Regulation (Mesafeli Sözleşmeler Yönetmeliği), the 14 day right of withdrawal therefore does not apply. You can still cancel at any time as described in section 8.
EU and UK. Apple sells the subscription to you. You may have a legal right to withdraw from your first purchase within 14 days, subject to the exceptions the law allows. You can use it through Apple, as described in Apple's terms: in your Apple Account, open Purchase History, choose the purchase and tap Withdraw Transaction.
If Premium does not work as described, please tell us so we can fix it. If the service is defective, consumer law also lets you ask for it to be provided again, for a price reduction in proportion to the defect, or to end the contract. In Türkiye these rights come from Article 15 of Consumer Protection Law No. 6502. Because Apple collects all payments, any money back is paid through Apple.
10. Deleting your account
You can delete your account at any time in Getups under Settings, then Legal, then Delete account. You need an internet connection, and if you signed in with Apple, Apple asks you to confirm. This permanently deletes your closet, outfits, piece images and account from our servers, your records of subscription events, and your profile at our subscription provider Adapty, and removes the copies Getups keeps on your iPhone. We cannot bring them back. Server logs are deleted after 30 days. Your purchase history stays with Apple. The Privacy Policy explains what is deleted and when. If you have Premium, cancel it with Apple first, because deleting your account does not stop Apple's billing.
If you do not open Getups with an internet connection for 12 months and do not have an active Premium subscription, we may delete your account and its data.
11. Suspension and ending
You can stop using Getups at any time by deleting your account and cancelling any subscription. We may remove content, limit features, or suspend or close an account if it seriously or repeatedly breaks these Terms or the law, or puts other users, our service or our providers at risk. Where we can, we will first tell you why and give you a chance to fix it. If we ever stop offering Getups, we will tell you in the app in advance. You can then cancel your subscription and ask Apple for a refund for any period you cannot use.
12. Licence and intellectual property
We grant you a personal, non exclusive, non transferable and revocable licence to use Getups for your own personal use on Apple branded devices that you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. Where Apple allows it, other accounts linked to yours through Family Sharing may also download Getups. Premium is not shared. Getups, including its software, design, texts, the images in the app other than the images made from your photos, and the Getups and Boutanna Apps names and marks, belongs to us or our licensors. These Terms do not give you any other right to use them. If you send us ideas or suggestions, we may use them without any obligation to you.
13. Disclaimers and liability
We work to keep Getups useful and reliable and your closet safe, but we cannot promise that Getups will always be available or free of errors, or that data will never be lost. To the extent the law allows, Getups is provided "as is" and "as available". This does not limit any legal guarantee that the law gives you as a consumer for digital content or services.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for events outside our reasonable control, such as outages at our service providers, network failures or natural disasters. Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for intent or gross negligence, for death or personal injury, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law, and nothing in them affects your mandatory rights as a consumer.
14. Apple
These Terms are between you and Boutanna Apps only, not Apple. We, not Apple, are solely responsible for Getups and its content.
- Support. We provide maintenance and support for Getups as described in these Terms and as required by law. Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for Getups.
- Warranty. If Getups fails to conform to any warranty that applies, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any, of Getups to you. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation for Getups, and any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs or expenses caused by a failure to conform to a warranty are our responsibility.
- Claims. We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claims by you or any third party relating to Getups or your use of it, including product liability claims, claims that Getups fails to meet any legal or regulatory requirement, and claims under consumer protection, privacy or similar laws.
- Intellectual property. If a third party claims that Getups, or your possession and use of it, infringes their intellectual property rights, we, not Apple, are responsible for investigating, defending, settling and discharging that claim.
- Legal compliance. You confirm that you are not located in a country that is subject to a US government embargo or that the US government has designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not on any US government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- Third party terms. You must follow any third party terms that apply when you use Getups, such as the terms of Apple and Google when you sign in with them, and your mobile data agreement.
- Usage Rules. If these Terms conflict with the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions, the Usage Rules apply.
- Third party beneficiary. Apple and its subsidiaries are third party beneficiaries of these Terms. Once you accept these Terms, Apple has the right, and will be deemed to have accepted the right, to enforce them against you as a third party beneficiary.
Our name, location and contact details are in section 17.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms when Getups, the law or our providers change. We will change the date and the version number at the top of this page and, for significant changes, tell you in the app before they take effect. A price change never applies to a period you have already paid for. If you do not agree with a change, you can stop using Getups, cancel your subscription and delete your account. If you keep using Getups after a change takes effect, the updated Terms apply. When we update these Terms, we keep the earlier versions available on this site.
16. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. If you have a problem, please contact us first and we will try to solve it with you.
If you are a consumer in Türkiye, disputes below the value limit that the Ministry of Trade sets each year go to the Consumer Arbitration Committee (Tüketici Hakem Heyeti) where you live or where you made the purchase. Disputes above that limit go to the Consumer Court (Tüketici Mahkemesi), and you can bring them in the court where you live. Before going to the Consumer Court, the law requires you to try mediation.
If you live in the EU, the UK or another country, you keep the protections that the consumer law of your country gives you and that a contract cannot change, and you may bring a claim in the courts where you live.
